Verse is a Bible memory app. This notice explains what the public site and app collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
What we collect
The core practice stores verses, review history, settings, and practice sessions locally in your browser using IndexedDB. If you create an account and subscribe, account identifiers and billing status are stored so we can provide paid features and cloud backup.
If you join the founding list, we collect your email address, the plan interest you selected, any note you submit, anonymous attribution and event identifiers, campaign parameters, browser user-agent, and an IP hint supplied by Cloudflare. We use this information to understand signups, prevent abuse, and respond to requests.
How we use it
We use collected information to provide the app, process subscriptions, send the updates you requested, measure campaign performance, protect the service, and respond to support or privacy requests. Product emails include an unsubscribe link.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and D1 database. Clerk provides account authentication. Stripe processes subscription payments. Resend delivers product emails. Bible lookup requests are routed through Cloudflare and may request public-domain scripture from bible-api.com. These providers receive only the information needed for their respective services.
Retention and deletion
Local practice data remains in your browser until you remove it or clear site data. Account, billing, lead, event, and email records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. To request access, correction, or deletion, email us from the address associated with the request.
